WARRANTY

GENERAL

Spika also offers a 1 year warranty on all Spika products which come with our 1 year warranty badge on the packaging. This one year warranty does not cover improper use and/or abuse of the product. Any product claimed for warranty must be returned to the Spika outlet where purchased with proof of purchase included.

SPIKA SAFES

Spika gun safes are guaranteed against faulty construction, workmanship, welds and/or materials for a period of 5 years from date of purchase, excluding locks and moving parts which have a warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase. This guarantee does not cover improper use and/or abuse of the product. Any product put forward for warranty must first be approved by Spika Head office. See returns.

CHALLENGER HUNTING KNIVES

Spika’s limited lifetime warranty is offered to all Challenger blades on workmanship, welds and/or materials warranty does not cover improper use and/or abuse of the product. If your item is damaged in any way due to manufacturers fault we will happily replace the item.


HUNTER CLOTHING

The Hunter by Spika gear comes with a comprehensive 24 month warranty. This means that, apart from normal wear and tear, we ensure our hunting apparel will have no manufacturing or material defects, and that’s a promise. If the gear hasn’t lived up to its high standard then take it in to your local Spika stockist or send it directly to our head office (freight paid by sender) with a return address and a copy of your receipt and we will repair it free of charge, or if it is unrepairable, we will replace the item. This warranty does not apply to ordinary wear and tear, is voided if the item has been misused or neglected and is not applicable if the item simply shows signs of unavoidable colour and material disintegration due to continued and extended use.


RETURNS

If Spika accepts product fault under our warranty, the product is to be returned to the Spika warehouse in Melbourne (freight cost covered by purchaser), packed properly with appropriate keys or parts (where applicable) and with proof of purchase included.

Zamberlan Hunting Australia (distributed by Spika Australia) are only responsible for the Hunting Range of boots sold through our selected stores within Australia.

Overview

Zamberlan Australia. (Zamberlan) products are covered by a limited warranty against defects in workmanship or materials for a period of one year from the date of retail purchase. Zamberlan will make all warranty determinations and reserves the right to either replace, repair, or issue credit for valid warranty returns. Zamberlan does not warranty product that has been previously repaired, improperly fit, damaged by improper use, damaged through normal wear-and-tear, damaged through accidents, or improperly cared for by the owner.

Policy

1.  Zamberlan footwear products are warranted for a period of one year from the original date of sale. Zamberlan shall make all warranty determinations and reserves the right to either replace, repair, or issue credit for valid warranty returns. All customers must attain a Warranty Return Authorization (WRA) number prior to shipping their boots to Zamberlan Australia, as no claims shall be accepted without a valid and registered WRA number. Any warranty claim received without authorization will be returned to the customer. Zamberlan Australia requires that all warranty claims be physically submitted to the company without exception.

2. The Zamberlan Warranty covers:

  (i) Defects in workmanship

  (ii) Material defects

3. The Zamberlan Warranty does not cover:  (i) Damage resulting from user misuse or abuse, including:

       — Product used for purposes other than originally intended

       — Product exposed to heat

  (ii) Issues caused by failure to care for the product (e.g. not conditioning leather uppers)

  (iii) Normal wear and tear

  (iv) Aesthetic damage to the product, including scratches, discoloration, or other non-function-impairing changes

  (v) Product that has been previously repaired

  (vi) Product that has been improperly fit

  (vii) Product damaged through accidents

  (viii) Failure of Gore-Tex liners (Note: The Gore-Tex Guarantee covers customers with these issues)

  (ix) Damage caused by chemicals or foreign substances
